Storyteller, actor, writer and translator.
Born in Blaenavon 1948. Studied English, Speech and Drama at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama. Stephen taught English in Denmark and English, Speech and Phonetics in Papua New Guinea. He was a founder member of the Gwent Theatre in Education Company and is a Tutor/Director at the Gwent Young People’s Theatre. Storyteller and performer with Tall Tales. Stephen is a Danish speaker and is currently working on a translation of Evald Tang Kristensen’s 'Bindestuens Saga' (Tales from the Knitting Room).

Storyteller/writer.
John was born in Newport in1948. He left school at the age of fifteen and worked as an apprentice painter and decorator before becoming a general porter at St Woolos Hospital. It was during this period that he resumed his education. John qualified as a teacher of English and Drama in 1972. After teaching for thirty years, he left the profession to work as a storyteller. In 2002, John joined Tall Tales.
